I found a Mossberg 500A with 18.5" barrel, synthetic stocks, and matte finish. They're asking $199 Cdn for it. Is it a good buy?

I'd say that's a pretty decent price for a brand new gun.

Seems the $C is down a bit from a few months ago (hey, I trade resource stocks in Toronto...), at about $1.05 US. I don't know anything about prices in Canada, for a NIB 500, $208.95 US seems pretty reasonable to me though.

Hello,

It's a used gun but the pictures look to have no big marks or scruffs. With taxes and shipping it goes up to $250. Is that still good? It's just a synthetic field model with a 18.5" barrel on it.
