LCP - unbelievable accuracy!

Had my LCP out on the range for the second time today, all I can say is wow. I ran some Winchester white box ammo through it but finished up with a couple of magazines of Rem Golden Saber 102gr rounds. At 7 yards The Golden Saber's blew my mind at how well they shot. I could put every round inside of a softball and if you cull out my worst shot they would all fit inside of a baseball. I was just astonished at how well such a small pistol shot. I darn near shot as well as I do with me SIG P228. I am quickly becoming a true believer in this little pocket fire ball. 20 years ago people could only dream about such a light pistol shooting this well in a .380 round. Not one single failure to feed in two trips to the range(backyard).

glad to hear it... I've had similar results with my LCP. Great little gun.

A full range report with pictures would earn you 12 cool bonus points.

I have been considering getting an LCP. But I am waiting until 380 is a bit easier to find in stock first. Hopefully I will get a chance to shoot an LCP or the Kel Tec soon to see if it shoots as well for me as others have reported.

Good shooting! I haven't been able to get those results from mine, but I'm guessing it's the shooter and not the gun.

The best (verifiable) shooting from the LCP that I know if is from Todd Greene of pistol-training.com. He actually shows his students how an LCP can hit a steel-plate target at 75-yards.
I'm not sure if I could hit a broad side of a barn at 75-yards with an LCP, but it is good to know that they can be that accurate in the right hands.

Me neither. I am not concerned about 75 yard shots with the LCP, thats pretty much why I only practice at short yardage with it. Its intended purpose is a close range defense weapon and therefore I have spent all of my time with it thus far at shorter distances. I figure it is better to get very good with it at 5-10yards than to just be decent with it at those distances because I am spending time shooting from 25+ yards.

gglass: that's the best photograph of an LCP (and many other guns) I've seen in a long time. Superb!

I don't think that Todd G. demonstrates the 75-yard shots to impress or brag, but rather to show just what is possible from these small wonders. I'm pretty sure that if I could shoot like that, I'd brag. :)

Thanks much... I felt inspired that day.
