Has anyone had experience with the grips offered by companies like Grand Blue or Dajim that sell grips carved from Thai rosewood?

Not yet, but I will eventually. I did the Ebay thing on some for a Python a couple of days ago. :scrutiny:

BTW turns out they're sandalwood, not zebrawood as I stated. I'd deal with this seller again with confidence.

The rosewood ones for the Browning/Colt 25 look nice. The checkering could be better around the edges but it doesn't look particularly sloppy. See pics.

Picked up the "Dajim" grips from the PO today. That was a pain to have to go into town...maybe the USPS doesn't do Rural Delivery from Thailand. :scrutiny:

The grips I got are from Ebay and for a Colt Python...finger grooves, open back strap, no checkering. The fit is acceptable for sure but not 100% perfect. Good for the money.

I won't keep them though and will attempt to sell them for what I have in them. They feel fine in my hand but I like the more traditional look on a Python...decided that much quickly.
