Hi folks, does anyone know of anyone who does the dip coatings in Realtree Xtra Brown camo?

I expect you may have a hard time. Realtree Xtra Brown is my favorite pattern but it went out of fashion long before dip coatings were available to the aftermarket. I saw a factory Benelli once in RTXB, so there was some overlap. Finding an aftermarket dipper that has some RTXB material will be a challenge.

The current Realtree APG is a fairly close match.

Best of luck.

Yeah the Benelli is what I have and need to redo the barrel to match the rest.

Here's a list of Realtree "partners" who do dipping:

You might want to contact Realtree directly.

Keep us posted.

None of those guys do the XTra Brown, so bump to the top.

A real longshot, but have you asked Benelli?

Yes I have, thanks. They gave me the name (or names, I forget) of whoever did it for them. That source no longer does my pattern, hence my problem.

As fond as I am of Realtree Xtra Brown, perhaps it is time to get an estimate on having your entire gun dipped in a pattern that is still available. It might not be that much more than getting just the barrel done.

Yeah, except for the outrageous shipping charges.

Yeah, except for the outrageous shipping charges.
????

It doesn't cost anymore to ship a long gun than anything else that weighs the same. Handguns are another story.

Do a search for CAMOCLAD, I used it on my .17 HMR and it worked great. They have a bunch of different patterns to choose from. If you do a search for "DIY GUN CAMO" on this site, you can see my pics. Good Luck.

Thanks, but Camoclad is not a hydrographic (dip) coating, and it's not available in the required pattern.

Thanks. Neither of those offer the correct pattern. It has to match the rest of the gun. The search continues.
