Like a lot of folks on THR, I've been strapped for cash lately. But I've done a lot of work on a friend's gun shop website, and he finally got in my "payment:" a Kimber Eclipse Target. It's been pouring rain all day, so no chance yet to take it to the range. Maybe later this week when the skies clear.

It's stainless, you can shoot it just fine in the rain :D

Congrats, I'm wanting to get a new handgun, wish I could work out that kind of deal.

Though it might be interesting to calculate how many hours you worked in the shop to get it........then using the base price of the pistol to figure your...hourly wage......
Using those figures, you might renogotiate your deal and keep better track of your hours!!! And get more firearms!!

jercamp45, he couldn't afford to pay me for the time I have into the site. Right around 375 hours right now, and climbing. I'm doing it in part as a favor, in part as a site for my portfolio, and in part for guns. Next year I'm going to hit him up for either a DSA FAL or a Springfield M1A.

I'd completely forgotten that it had night sights, so I was kind of surprised when I was putting it back in the safe and saw those green glowing thingies.

If it shoots as well as my Gold Match, I'll be a very happy camper!

And I hope your friend really understands and appreciates the sacrafices you have made for his shop. That is ALOT of hours for one handgun!!
But if you are getting what you need and he is too........
Yep, a good rifle is next!!!! And choices you state... might be hard to pick one!!
But I am sure you'll manage
