Hi, I have a Ithaca model 37r, serial #72201. I was checking the serial # on the Diamond Gunsmithing site, it states that Ithaca started production again in 1946 starting with # 72200, would this be the second gun produced that year? If so would this have any effect on the value. Thanks for your help.

I honestly don't know. You would think so, wouldn't you, but it's still a later model, just post-war.
