Jeez, I know this is self-aggrandizing as all get-out, but if anyone might be interested, a local newspaper published their write-up on us today. At the very least, you may get a giggle out of the photo of my ugly mug.

There is a good bit of historical detail about the company in there and the famous quote: "No crying in the bullet barn, Jo Ann."

Missouri Bullet Co. now is in the top three bullet casting companies in the world by volume, he said, and is producing 100,000 bullets in an average day, and 50,000 on Saturday and Sunday.

To go from "let's see how this thing works" in 2006 to this is in 2009 beyond incredible.

The Alperts said the business will gross more than three-quarters of a million dollars this year, with a projected gross of $1.5 million next year.

I'm proud to be an "investor" in the company, one box at a time!

Congratulations!

Just goes to show great service is always in demand, especially when coupled with a competitive price.

Brad,

Some really great news; I'm a lot uglier than you are :p (just kidding of course).

Brad -
Well, I was going to place an order for 20,000 more bullets, that is... until I saw your picture. That about ruined it. That is, until I saw the cute red-head. Is she married?

Just pullin' your ingot, man! Congrats on some great coverage.

Lucky you. Now, every gun store cowboy in the state of Missouri will probably be headed over to your barn every Saturday to drink coffee and tell you "about the time they molded 1/2 million 400gr wad cutters by hand in 4 hours using only their kid's baby bottle warmer and a single cavity mold they bought on sale at Sears". lol

I know you can hardly wait.

There goes 'my secret' supplier of lead.

I've been using .45 caliber MB's exclusively for quite a while. In fact, I remember when I ordered my first flat rate box and it took 2 weeks because they were still operating the manual and were swamped.

Time to place another order...

Very cool, Brad. The very first bullet I ever reloaded was a MBC bullet. I bought thousands of them over a few months when I could buy them at Powder Horn in Columbia, MO. After I moved, I still had 1000 or so bullets left and I've been reloading them, but my supply is dwindling. Looks like I'll be putting in an order soon!

Hey, if it's true, it's not bragging.

Congratulations! Yes, and American Dream come true! I knew you guys got phenomenally big in terms of production, but being the third largest caster on the planet from a startup in such a few years is just :what: astonishing!

Excellent!
