Been several months since I asked last-may be some-one new who can tell value of Belgian[proof marks tell] 12 ga dbl bbl made by JAMART7CIE,LIEGE.REGULAR BBLS[NOT TWIST OR DAM].Prince whatsisname grip."MATADOR" stamped on rib.Horn buttplate.Excellant balance+'feel'.Choke 18.3/18.4.DBL Trigger.Bought it for $350 .Only ref I can find on net is old French hunting arms book.Mentions Hamart in same paragraph with Purdey.Assume made circa 1930.Any of you shotgun-o-philes have a clue?

New one on me, Swampus. Belgian guns are a real morass.

You may want to post over on the BB at Shooting Sportsman magazine's site. Those folks may be better able to enlighten you.

You will have to put up with a few dudes dissing it because it's not what THEY have, but shrug it off.
