Hi everyone, I just bought an old stevens 16 gauge SxS with the tannerite(?) stock or what ever that old plastic is. I'd like to find an inexpensive wood stock set to slip on this guy, is that possible? Anyone done it/know of a stock set that would require minimal if any fitting? Something so classic looking about SxS's that I bought one in caliber I don't stock for and a stock that I don't like! I used to use my fathers benellis for skeet etc but have been amassing my own collection for a long time now and thought if even just for beautifying the wall, this guy might be worth it! Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help.

If you would like a project, you could check out Gunstocks Inc. They make semi finished and unfinished stocks.

You could also check Macon Gunstocks.

There are two different stocks for 311 (5100) models. Before you buy one be sure you know the difference.

egunparts may also have an original.

Good luck with the wood stocks. I think they'll treat ya better than the Tannerite ones.:D

Pics when you get'em please!
