Hello guy's and gal's, Im in need of a Good refinishing servicer, I am in the process of Building my first 1911, and Have puchased a Frame and slide kit from Wilson Combat, and except the finish ,I will be doing all the work on the build. Now I have not decided on a type of finish yet wether to go with bluing,parkerized,duracoat etc. My question is, can I get some references from somebody, that has a reputable Refinisher ,that reasonable, with not to long of a turnaround time? When it comes to bluing and most other gun finishing you can have good finishing or you can have cheap finishing.
Cheap looks exactly like what it is: a finish done by some ham-fisted part timer.
