I ordered some Missouri Bullets about 1 week ago and finally made it to the range today. I loaded a 200gr LSWC over 4.9gr of 231. The results were very good. 1 whole raged groups at 7 and 15 yards and about a 3and 1/2 inch group at 25 yards. Now that's about as good as I can shoot. I will deff. be buying from them from now on. Next time Im going to try the softer ones. I compaired them side by side with the Oregon Trails , and the Missouri's won out. Same load, same bullet weight and profile.

Thanks for the post. I'm going to start reloading soon and I already bought a couple thousand of the 200 LSWC. I'm assuming you have the IDP #1 (Brinell 18) bullets? That's what I got and I'm also planning to use 231 as well. I was a little worried about the sizing since they're .452 and the loading manual I'm looking at refers to .451 and wasn't sure how critical this was.

Only load about 100 to be sure they'll feed in your particular gun. Don't be "that guy" that made 2000 rounds only to find they jam in their gun.

It will be all right. Cast bullets should be +.001-.002 bigger than jacketed. .451 is normal for jacketed & .452 is normal for cast. You may want to look at a load manual that has lead bullet data.

Let me tell you about MB. I recently bought 500 .401 180grn for 10mm. In that box I found 10 bullets that hadn't been lubed. I e-mailed MB as a heads up that they were having an issue.
Brad e-mailed me back explaining about what they call "downers". He also said they would have a new box on the way to me. That was unexpected!
So not only does MB make a great bullet, they completely stand behind them.

MikeS., just so you and all other MB buyers know, last fall JoAnn (Mrs. Brad) told me that each box actually has a couple "bonus" bullets in it so no one can say they got shorted, or just in case a few slip through un-lubed. Sort of the bakers' dozen approach to bullet casting.

If you want a good load for the 45 ACP using IDP#1 go with 4.6 grs. 231
(200gr.SWC) an excellent load in my Witness Elite Match.

Yeah. I loaded some tonight with 4.6gr 231 with the 200gr LSWC. Hope to get out next week and try them out.

Thanks for that info. My concern when initialing finding 8 unlubed was that they had a machine issue. I wound up with 10 that way. Brad did a great job explaining to me why that can happen.

Dang! I must have loaded my bonus bullets up pretty early on. When I got the the end of the box of 500 there were 6 bullets left over, but they look just like all the rest. Guess I'll have to keep a keener eye out for 'em next time. Unless you can put them in a little baggie or something. ;)

I have bought several thousand bullets from Missouri Bullets. Even thought Brad doesn't know me from Adam's house cat I feel like a VIP due to the fast service. I shoot IDPA, when I tell the reloaders that I can get top quality bullets in 3-4 days they are amazed. Several are now believers after they got their orders.

I have never heard anything bad about them. They sound like a pleasure to deal with so much, it makes me want to buy a handgun just so I can load up some of their bullets.
