(1) Can you get a "short trigger" like you can for the other Sigs?

(2) Can you get slimmer grips?

Thanks.

Is the P232 not as popular as I thought?

I don't know about the short trigger, but the P232 can use the thinner P230 grips, which do not have the pronounced thumb swell of the P232 grips.

I also know nothing about the short trigger. I thought I had read when the 232 came out that it would not accept the earlier 230 grips. It's nice to read that I am mistaken. I, too, wish the grips were a bit thinner but they feel pretty good and seem to be less slick than the 230 grips. Also, although they have a bit of palm swell compared to the flat 230 grips, they also have a tapered butt as opposed to the wider, more squared butt of the 230. I think an argument can be made that the 232 grips are actually more concealable than the 230 grips. (I am not prepared to bleed to defend that statement, however.) I would like to see a somewhat slimmer grip that retains the texture and tapered butt of the current grip. As for your second post, the 230/232 is one of my very favorite handguns. Can't speak for everyone but almost anyone I know of who owns or has owned one (or more) raves about them.

I could be wrong, but I thought I read once at sigforums that you could get a short trigger on any sig.....tom

Give SiGArms a call and they will be happy to answer your question about the trigger.

I like the Nils grips on my 230. They are both thinner and fatter in that they have slightly more palm swell but thinner edges.
