All though a small one, and easily fixed. i was loading today and the turret wasn't wanting to turn when i would push the handle foward, sometimes it would and sometimes it wouldn't. something just wasn't catching. it was the little black square piece called the "square ratchet". i dug out the spare that came with the set, which i am glad that it did and i am glad that i put it somewhere where i would be able to find it. the original lasted approx 4,500rds. quick and easy to replace.
by the way I love this press and high;y recomend it to anyone that wants a good press, faster than the single stag that i am used too for sure.

I wouldn't call that an "issue"...I'd call that "Time to order a few"...
And I agree with you. Well worth the money...

It is not uncommon to ruin the first ratchet piece while learning to use the LCT. This is what happened to me. (I'm not saying that at 4500 rounds you are by any stretch of the imagination a new loader, but the damage done while learning shortens the life of the part.) After replacing the ratchet with the spare included with the kit, I have loaded many, many more rounds than I did with the first ratchet and am still using it. The spares are a good idea. When ordering from Midway, I sometimes add 1 or 2 just to meet their minimum order. And I too am really pleased with my LCT. It is my first reloader, chosen after a lot of research and deliberation. Works for me.

Shipping will cost more than the part. I would buy plenty to make the shipping worth it. I also love my classic turret.

+1 for the LCT
I outfitted mine with a funnel so I can use the Lee Dipper Cups when charging. Never developed a trust for the automatic chargers.

I have the older turret, and lee dies.I have the lee disc powder measur and on
some pistol calibers I dedicate the measure and remove with turret. If your using the auto advance it is just like a progressive only one at a time.I loaded 500 45 colt in a few hrs.I dont work for speed.
new loaders should get the clasic rather than a single stage.and load single stage and then when experianced go to auto route.
