would like to hear from 22 hornet fans. my favorite caliber! very powerful for its size. also like info on good cast loads. mine so far is 55 gr cast w/gas check 4 gr unique at about 1600 fps. shoots good.

Recoil? None. Noise? Not much. Accuracy? Varies from poor to quite good.

Once I worked out the many kinks in my Anschutz, my hornet has become my favorite short range varmint rifle. I mounted a 4x weaver, gives is a great classic look.

I like the K-hornet better. You have to handload, but the rechamber is easy, you can still short standard hornet in the k-hornet chamber, and brass last much longer.

BTW, Lil' Gun is super in the hornet and K-hornet. And pistol primers have helped reduce group size in my 1885 low wall and CZ.
