Today is the day folks. This is what it all comes down to the Superbowl of activism: Election Day. If you have not done so please get out and vote. if you know someone who has not done so (and isn't an anti) get them out to vote too. Friends, family, people living on the street (yes democratic voting methods are acceptable) just get them to the poles. The 2003 election is being seen as a preview of the 2004 election so a good showing is needed.

Remember that all the memberships and all the activism in the world mean nothing if you don't vote. If you have any questions about who to vote for, whether is is a city councilman, sheriff, delegate, whatever contact the NRA or put up a post on this board

Its an off year election so fewer people are voting which of course makes our voice potentially stronger.

Lets continue the '00, '02 trend. Get out and VOTE!

Was second in line (Behind Mrs. Foggy) @6:30AM when the polls opened. Only a minor dispute with poll workers....

When I voted (@ 6:02 am), I think I frightened the poll workers.

From within the curtained voting booth, I cackled, "Take that! And That! And That!"

When I realized I was saying it out loud, (and it was too late) I knew that it wasn't time for half measures, so went for all the marbles and threw in a hearty mad scientist's "Bwa ha ha ha!"

I then swept open the curtains with a flourish and a satisfied dreamy grin, and just walked out.
