I've recently picked up a Taurus PT-809 and I've been looking around for holsters. Since the gun (as far as I know) is fairly new, it's hard to find size information specific to that model on most holsters. Does anyone know if it's similar enough in size to another Taurus (24/7 possibly?) that I could just use one of those models for most holsters? I will probably end up with a universal fit shoulder holster, but I may want a SERPA or something like that in the future.

809s are not all that common yet, but as the number of 809s sold goes up so will the holster makers who will see a need for these and start making more of them.

Where are you located?

If you have a custom holster maker in your area, many of them will allow you to drop off your piece and they'll make a holster directly from your gun.
