Bullet sizing

How can I size without lubing, can I do it with wd 40 or something. I want to heat treat. I am using the Lee sizer. Thanks

Sure, it takes very little lubricant, some people use soapy water.

I size all mine first then lube them with Lee push-through sizers. No problems.

If you use a water soluble lube for example, you can rinse and dry after sizing, before heat treating and final lubing.
WD40 will leave a residue, that may or may not degrade the powder of the final loaded round. Just a thought.

I never heat treated before but I just thin down the liquid alox with mineral spirits to a water consistency. Lightly tumble lube and you can start sizing them in 20 minutes. It takes about 5 small drops of this mix for 200 bullets or so. When you pick them up they don't even look lubed but it is more than enough for sizing.
