"More evidence of censorship by the vast right wing conspiracy"

Isn't it? I mean, after all, we had a big general member meeting on this subject last week at VRWC Lodge 272... :neener:

This kind of thing just makes me sick. Ronnie was at the helm when the wall came down; Ronnie was at the helm when the military was rebuilt, reequipped and upgraded; Ronnie was at the helm when Star Wars broke the back of the evil empire. To have CBS or anyone trash him or his memory is unthinkable.

Barnard Goldberg-Arthor of BIAS- was on O'Reily last night. Amazingly, heconsiders old Dan Rather (Rather Biased) to be the least "liberal" of the famous names on CBS.

O'Reily laughted and said that Walter Chronkite had called him a "Nazi" recently. Uncle Wally has come out as an " Internationalist" recently. This is a league of leftists who want the United State to surrender sovereignty to The World Community. Sort of like Communists who believe its just fine for the ruling elite to be rich and that everybody else should be kept happily employed obeying the ruling elite.

I'm all for a critical docu-drama or documentary of the Gipper. I've heard plenty of valid criticism of him. But this is just an attack piece. It has him swearing, which he virtually never did. It has him chewing people out, which again he never did, even when he really should have. It has him claiming to be the anti-Christ, which is just surreal. It also has Nancy cast as the most over-the-top abusive woman since "Mommy Dearest." Now Nancy had an edge to her, no doubt, but nothing like this. Reagan's son was on the radio last night, emphasizing all these points. It's not really even a matter for debate. The mini-series has no resemeblance to Ronald Reagan or Nancy. It doesn't even resemble the negative but supportable view of Reagan as a sleepy old man who didn't take enough control of his people.

I think the people behind it are either boldly cynical manipulators or actually mentally ill.

If conservatives/libertarians put this kind of pressure on the media for other blatant lies, imagine what we could accomplish.
