I want to get the tar and gravel off my roof. Anybody ? Ideas ?

You can... but it all depends on what the roof is attached to and how... and what you're going to replace it with...

a remington 870 express,,,

# 8 shot would probably cover the most area per shot,,,

:D

in lieu of that, someone just told me they used to use a flat shovel to scrape it off, but theres also a tool / large scraper that is made for the job

One of those street sweeper shotguns may work.

Roof , Street, shouldn't matter.

Hire people who are into pain. They can remove it. But it'll leak then.

It'll leak more if you use buckshot.

if you hold the 870 at just the right angle the #8 shot should take the tar off but not penetrate the roof,,,

but his does sound potentially darwinish,,,so don't really try it
