If I could just get them to come in early in the morning.

another thing to consider, maybe you got a hog feeder mixed up with a deer feeder. It's hard for us humans to tell the differance, but the animals sure do know.

Never thought of that might need to take it back and tell them they gave me the wrong feeder:p

Your profile does not say even what State you live in, but if I was close, I would sure help you out by turning the feeder off for a day, then turning it on in the middle of the night to go off at dawn. Then BANG......

My son-in-law has a game cam now and put it out on my feeder. It took 500+ pictures and only one had something in it. where he put it out, there's some grass in the way. Need to trim that. I think the wind blowing the grass might have been tripping the camera. It was mostly daylight shots. The one shot had a doe in it about 9:30 PM.

We've got some learnin' to do with this thing, I guess. LOL

They can be tricky to set up. You can minimize wasted picture space by trimming away small branches, grass, etc, or better yet find a location where there is minimal stuff between the camera and the feeder. Ideally you would also make sure there is nothing in the camera's trigger range that will move with the breeze, but that's not usually possible.

The first time I set up a game camera, I ended up with 400+ pictures of various small birds eating from the feeder.

If I could just get them to come in early in the morning.

Set your timer to come on after daylight, and don't have it come on at dusk. It won't take long for the hogs to hit it in the mornings.

I got it to go off at 7am but I reckin they ran all the deer off. So they can come and go and feed at will.
