Converting ejectors to extractors?

Does anyone know how feasible it is to convert ejectors to extractors on an over and under? I have found a tutorial for the Browning Citori (http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=145108), but I was really looking to buy a Ruger Red Label, as they seem to point better for me. Could a variation on this methodology work on a Red Label?

On both my Stoeger Uplanders that I use for Cowboy Action matches , the ejectors were easy to disable but I'm not sure on the Ruger.
