What does DNR send me after I complete my hunting ed course and have the certificate?

That all really depends on what state you are in .....

In MN, once you have the certificate you get nothing more.... just the right to hunt (in MN it is a protected RIGHT)

Ace,

I moved your thread for you.

I'd guess different states do things different ways. In NC, you get a wallet sized card, and you need to show it to purchase a hunting license (though that wasn't always the case). Ask your DNR what the drill is in your state, I'm sure they can tell you.

And congratulations on the course,

lpl

I'm in SC, and the guy said I would get something in the mail from DNR in 2 weeks or 2 months.

Where are you at ACE? In Kansas we issue the certificate on the last day of class and that's it. Sometimes wildlife and parks sends out a survey at a later time but nothing else.
