G36 really the same size as P232?

I've shot the P232 and held the G36, and I always thought the former was smaller than the latter. But according to the official specs, they're practically identical:

G36 (http://www.glock.com/g36.htm)

P232 (http://www.sigarms.com/products/classicpersonalsize-models.asp?product_id=42)

Am I missing something here? I can see that if the G36 length is only the slide, it'd be a little longer, but not much. This is making me reconsider a P232 for a small IWB pistol (especially considering the caliber).

The sig sure seems alot smaller, but the specs make it seem close. I like the kahr p or k series compared to both of those, in 40 the kahr is a formidable defense gun, and they are way thinner, like .90 or close to that. I think I am going for a p40 myself in the near future......tom
