Two more hogs in the trap. He shot 'em and got 'em home. I've gotta go over there and butcher. CYA....:D A little dark for pix, just have to relay the details. That's 4 we've got in a month of settin' the trap. I think we've gotten over-run with 'em at this point. Knocked my danged feeder over a couple of months ago.

Well, these were little 'ens, about 50 lbs a piece. But, the meat is good on 'em. I caught 3 once and one of 'em was little. The 150 and 200 lber I shot, was going to let the little 'en go. Danged thing went to charging the trap trying to rip me a new one. I decided I could make a few meals out of him after all. LOL Turning the little 'ens loose really isn't advisable unless you do it from inside the truck and, well, they actually eat better the smaller they are.
So, they're on ice and tomorrow night after work we cut and grind. :D Damn, I forgot the SD card he brought back from the feeder camera. He doesn't have a SD reader on his lap top and I have a multimedia front on my desk top. Guess he'll bring it tomorrow night. Maybe I'll have some pix. He said there was 50 something on it.

MC, don't ever turn any of them loose, especially a sow. They don't forget and they become trapwise. And it may sound farfetched to some, but I believe the trapwise hogs somehow educate the less experienced. Kill off the oldest when you can, it makes the younger ones dumber.

Well, they are smart animals. Not sure they communicate, LOL, but they are smart.
None have left it alive, yet. I got 4 babies in there once. Shot and cleaned 'em all. The meat all fit in the crock pot from ONE pig. LOL! But, they ate good. I guess, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.
