I’m dusting off my old Thompson Center Hawkins rifle for hunting season.

I have some Pyrodex RS that was purchased in 2003. I has been sealed and stored in my (insulated garage). Should I toss the powder and get new or should it be OK?

And what's the shelf life for #11 percussion caps? I'm guessing I bought them when I got the powder.
