Who uses or has tested "M-Pro 7" cleaner/lube/protectant?

I was at a pretty amazing outdoor store nearby today and wanted some BreakFree CLP to try. Despite an aisle-long row of lubes and cleaners (Wholesale Sports - if you live in western Canada, OR, WA, ID or MT you should check this place out!). Nada. No Eezox either. I picked up this stuff called "M-Pro 7" as a substitute and to try. I tried searching the archives for "m pro 7" and "m-pro 7" and found nada hits, which surprised me.

http://www.mpro7.com/

I picked up the "CLP" flavor (cleaner/lube/protectant). Seems like it's new stuff. Curious if anyone has tested it - particularly the "protectant" angle as I am finding my normal routine of clean/wax/oil is not cutting it on some of my older guns in the dang wet PNW.

It works and it's really not that new. It's being used by the Military if I'm not mistaken.

I've used it often over the years. Good stuff. Easy to use. As far as "protectant" properties go I don't know that it's any better than anything else. Keeping a gun clean and oiled is the best protection I know of. I prefer it over CLP as it leaves no residue. Try it.

Between M-Pro 7 and Eezox, they're the only products I have found to ever need or want.

The cleaner is supposedly less toxic than table salt. It works, and it is very mind. It also dries out your skin a little, but atleast you don't have to worry about it going up in flames.

Is it ok on blue guns? How about polymer?

as far as i can tell it as not un-blued any of my pistols. It's quite good stuff.

Yes it is good for those and will harm neither.

It's useful to read the labels of products or visit their websites to read the warnings. Hoppe's #9 for example says on the label not to use it on nickel plated guns. Others usually provide clear directions on how to use their product.

M-Pro 7 are good products.

The cleaner is a high tech soap. It cleans extremely well. Re-oiling is an absolute must, as it strips it clean. I only use it for stuff broken down completely that I can get oil back on every surface.

The oil is very good. It's light and spreads into little places well, but still does a great job. It is my favorite "light oil".

I have used mpro7 for at least 7 years. Great stuff. I just keep around the "conventional" cleaners like sweet's for copper removal.

Once you get used to mpro7, you never go back.

Works great with my bore snakes. Ditto on the oil well after using. I 'inherited' some gun oil from a friend of my Ex-wife, the hand written label reads 50/50 turbine/sperm whale oil this stuff works really well. It 'sticks' to the gun, have a ROA in the safe that hasn't been shot for far too long [1998] I Take it out for annual cleaning and it looks freshly oiled every time. M-Pro 7 cleans this stuff off real quick. I don't use this oil for carry guns, but my 'locker queens' seem to like the stuff.

I buy M Pro 7 from Dillon"s blue press and have used it for 5 years. Excellant cleaner. Scrub well, blow out and lube...
