Why are the .380 glocks not available in the U.S.? I really don't see the purpose of a glock sized gun in that caliber, and I wouldn't buy one, but someone would probably be interested. Just wondering why you never see them here?

The point system of the SSA of '68. Teddy's sporting purpose clause. More points for bigger calibers.:)

El Tejon, thanks. what is the ssa point system exactly? Do you have a link that explains it? I have heard of it before but I haven't ever seen an explanation. I searched for an older thread but apparently there are none. It seems odd to me that a lower powered gun is prohibited. I guess that is a "sensible" or "common sense" gun law.

No, makes no sense at all. I really don't think Glock would sell that many anyways though. Glock probably isn't even interested in importing them otherwise I would think they would have lobbied for some change.

They are not sold in the US. They are made for European contry's that ban civilain ownership of handguns in military/police calibers.
