I'm looking for a winter project so I think I'm going to build a flintlock pistol. I've seen them for same at Dixie and Track of the Wolf but does anyone else carry the kits?

I'm looking for something where the metal is in the white, rough finish is fine but my woodworking skills are poor so something that only requires final inletting.

I got a Lyman plains pistol in .54 cal. It was an awesome kit to build, and an awesome gun as well. The kit sells for around $220. It may not be right for you though, as you did say you wanted to build a flintlock and the Lyman is a percussion cap gun.
