November fifth marks the anniversary of our main Guy's attempt to blow up Parliament! Although it now appears he would have wasted a good bit of London as well.

I was working in the UK last year and got to experience the whole week. It is very odd to have Fireworks going off for a whole week in Novemeber. They start on Halloween which was odd, cause they don't seem to be into Halloween otherwise over there.

Interesting history, actually. I thought that the celebration had sort of morphed together with Halloween because the dates were so close, and the elements of the festivities were so similar.
