The finish is called nickel.
Pricing would be based on condition and locale, but considering the Lawman was Colt's utility revolver it would probably be in the $200 to $275 range in very good condition.
Most Lawmen were built as holster guns and came in 2 and 4 inch barrels. The Troopers, which were the next step in quality, could be bought with the 8 inch barrel.

Try $300+ for the Colt Lawman. That is the going rate for the Official Police revolver here in the greater Seattle area.

If it's in tip-top condition, I could conceivably go as high as $250. I had a Mark III Trooper years ago, and it was a heck of a fine shooter.

Taking a look at the on-line auction sites, and GunsAmerica, indicates that the Mark III sells for fairly high prices, in good condition.
A nickel model with the 8" barrel will have collector interest, since not that many nickel 8"s were made.
