Just shot my new Hakim this afternoon with 1977 Yugo 8mm ammo. What a wonderful rifle. The recoil was light and I managed 2" groups at 90 meters. In many ways it felt like my Garand. With the price of 8mm ammo I think I am going to enjoy shooting this rifle even more than my Garand! :D Anyone else have similar performance with their Hakim?

AG-42B Ljungman. What a sweetheart to shoot, and just as accurate as the M-96 Swedish Mauser. The brass does go a long ways, doesn't it? I'm sure the Hakim kicks them out with some oomph, too!

What a beautiful Swede! I guess my Hakim inherited the Swedish quality (I understand the Swedes helped in the production). I too have a M96 and this Hakim is close to it in accuracy - pretty good for a semiauto rifle this old!

Don't do this to me!
I have other projects I need to tend to, and can't get involved in buying rifles like Geweher's beautiful Swede...

The Swedes did more than help with the Hakim; they sold the Ljungmann tooling to the Egyptians.
