Can somebody tell me who makes straight magazines for the mini?

All mags that use the 5.56 or .223 will have a slight curve to them. This is because the round is tapered slightly.

AK-47 larger capacity mags really show this because the 7.62x39 round is much more tapered than the .223 round.

Obviously you are not an honest man.

Danny, do you just mean the body itself? Or can the base of the mag be tapered?

The 20-rd AR-15/M16 magazine has a straight body, with a taper at the base.

I am looking for Mini-14 mags that have the straight body, like M-16 mags (and like M-14 mags) I saw them on one forum, I just need a manufacturers name..

The Ruger 5 & 10-shot mags are straight.

The 20 & 30 are curved because they have to be due to the cartridge taper.

If they were straight the rounds would rattle around and not feed right.

No, it's a 20 round, straight-bodied mag, just like the M16 20rd straight bodied mag.

I have 12 Ruger factory 20 rounds magazines for my Ruger GB Mini 14. They are all curved. I can't recall seeing any after market straight 20 rounds Mini 14 magazines. Maybe there are some out there, but ... ????????

Cheaper than Dirt has them.

They're getting mixed reviews for function.
I stick to the factory magazines, the others always malfunction sooner or later.
It's too bad, the straight ones have a great M1 Carbine look to them.

Ruger's factory 20 and 30 round mags have a slight curve to them.

I would not buy an aftermarket mag that deviates from Ruger's design. Good aftermarket mags for Minis are hard to find.

Yep. Stick with the factory 20s and 30s and all will be well.

The 20s have a very slight curvature. Best part, Ruger had them on sale earlier this year on their web site and many stocked on them at a good price.

There are currently no factory 20s or 30s for the Mini 30 that I know of? Do know it's even harder to find functional hicaps for the Mini 30, than the Mini 14. Two that I have (USA), are absolutely useless. The lip at the front of the mag is too low to line up with the chamber, so the cartridges cannot feed properly. Iffy feeding on FMJs, zero feeding with HPs.
