Log in times out

Question when I log in and am reading a long post and then return to the post listing for some reason I have to relog in and while reading it may take 5-10 min is their a way you can fix this for me.

Most likely you aren't utilizing the "Remember me" function when you login. You are automatically logged off after 20 minutes (not 5 to 10 minutes) if you remain idle for that period of time.

And, just for the record, composing a message counts as idle time.
"Posting" is activity = resets the timer; refreshing a page is activity = resets the timer; changing pages is activity = resets the timer; previewing a message you are composing is activity = resets the timer.
However, if you check the "remember me" box, the forum software will (nearly always) simply restore your logged status when you post after a period of extended (composing or reading) inactivity.
