Bobbed Hammers

Any manufacturers make revolvers with heavily bobbed hammers that can still be used for SA? I worry slightly about hang up on a CCW, but do not delight the idea of a DAO gun.

I'm not aware of any manufacturers that currently do because of the possibility of someone unintentionally firing the revolver while trying to lower a cocked hammer that didn't have a spur. It can be done, but it's dangerous, in that if done incorrectly the consequences could be unfortunate. Then of course the "victim" would sue the gunmaker.
I would suggest that you either buy one of the D.A.O. revolvers and practice at shooting it until you acquire the needed skills, or get a S.A./D.A. model with a hammer spur and a holster that covers the hammer so that it doesn't tear up your clothes when the gun's carried concealed.
If you are determined to have this combination of a spurless hammer with the single-action feature a gunsmith could probably convert a regular revolver to this configuration.
Last but not least, Both Smith & Wesson and Taurus make snub-nosed revolvers that have high side panels beside the hammer that eliminate snagging but retains the single-action option. For an example look at the S&W models 638 or 649

Ditto the Bodyguard models.
However, most Smith DAOs can be staged just like a SA with practice.
Even my brand new M642.

Pop over to www.smith-wesson.com and check out the 638. The shrouded hammer is the best of both worlds.
Good Luck...
