A friend of mine (Eric from Boulder/Colorado) challenged me a while ago. He said "Make a precise slingshot instead of a powerful one!"
Well, I did. Here is the result:

Enjoy!

Hi Jerg, first let me say I've watched all of your slingshot videos on YouTube and find them to be both fun and educational.
Have you had a chance to test this commercial laser sighted slingshot on the market?

I'm going to guess the answer is "no" because I remember you said slingshots with wrist braces are illegal in Germany. If they were not, would you prefer slingshot designs with wrist braces?
I enjoyed the video where you did a comparison shoot out between commercially available sling shots. I would love to see you do some more of these.
I have been thinking of buying a Barnett slingshot, but to me it seems like those long stabilizers sticking out are mostly for looks. To me, they just seem to add unwanted bulk and weight. I notice none of your design have them.

Just out of curiosity, which of you slingshot designs is your favorite so far?
You are a very clever guy, keep all those new slingshot designs coming.

BruiseLee (cool name), I have not tested the laser slingshot you found at catsdomain, because of the wrist braces that are illegal here. I legally own many guns, and if they would ever catch me with an illegal slingshots, I'd loose my gun license too. So I can't do that.
But I do not like braces. They are only needed for poorly designed slingshots that have a very high fork. A low fork produces so little strain on the wrist that it is no problem at all. I think braces are ugly and cumbersome, in general.
My favorite slingshot... hmmm... you know I really like this latest one, not because of the laser (I don't need one, I am an instinctive shooter), but because of the self centering due to the dual pivot design.
Greetings, Jörg

Joerg, I think you should seriously consider producing some of your designs for export. I think they would blow away anything I could buy here in the USA. I can't think of a single model I could find in a local sporting goods store that would be in the same league as your designs.
All the slingshots I see locally are built around a low price point. I think almost all sell for under $30 US, and are mainly marketed at kids and casual users. There are no upscale slingshots. Yours would be like Beeman or Feinwerkbau air rifles compared to a Crossman or Daisy BB guns. I think what we can buy here offers good value for the money, but yours would be like buying a Porsche!
