I just found out about this cartridge 3 minutes ago, does anybody have any ballistics for it? It is a .300 Weatherby case necked down to accept a 7mm bullet.

Basically it's a 7mmSTW with a double radius shoulder and has the same ballistics. It's been around a long time, just not popular.

you would proly be better served with a 300wsm/7; a lot of power, in a short stack receiver.

Ranger, I don't want one, I was just wondering the ballistics.

look around and find reloaders that are using this cartridge. enter their bullet and muzzle velocity into a ballistics calculator along with the variables and see for yourself.

I like jbm ballistic calculator myself.
