my buddy has a smith -wesson 31-1, 32 long it has the old style cylinder latch and is about 70-75% condition, we were wondering about when it was made and what it was worth. thanks for any info.

There's an excellent DOB sticky for smith revolvers at the top of the page. Just need some basic info they provide in the first post, model, caliber, round or square butt, barrel length, and a partial serial i believe.
