I have a question about AZ's open carry as it applies to people under the age of 21. I am 20 years old, and in a couple weeks I'll be spending a weekend out and about in the wilderness. Due to a couple factors, it might come in handy to be armed. Normally I'd be taking my trusty Mossie 500A, but the people I'm going with prefer to keep a low profile. While I understand that I cannot purchase a handgun or get a concealed carry permit until I'm 21 (ironically enough by then I'll have completed boot camp and will be stationed who knows where), but what about open carry of a loaned handgun? I'll be accompanied by the friend who owns the firearm. Would this be illegal, or even shady in any way?

Obviously I'm not a laywer, but I did find the Arizona Revised Statutes (http://www.azleg.state.az.us/ArizonaRevisedStatutes.asp?Title=13) aka the law books. Chapter 31 is the firearms rules. Looks like you are okay for open carry since you are no longer a minor (under 18).

Yeah, I've skimmed thru that (good stuff). But I get a headache trying to read legalese, guess I'll just have to wade thru it :barf: . Thanks.
