I got an old Ithaca 37 a while back and the original mag spring was broken so I've now ordered a Wolf replacement spring(extra power) that is kind of a one size fits all trim to fit proposition...
I haven't tried it yet so maybe the full length will work but I thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone is running a wolf extra power mag tube spring in a mod 37 Ithaca and if they could tell me the desired length or a simple procedure to figure it out?
Thanks, Charley

Cut it to about 10" past the end of the mag tube. Bend the ends down close to the lower coil so they don't stick up. Keep them round and even with the other coils.
