I bought a Dan Wesson Model 12 .357 Mag revolver some time ago and recently one of the internal springs - the one that pushes the arm that rotates the cylinder and at the same time the bar that transfers a hammer strike to the firing pin - broke. The cylinder is not rotating now and the transfer bar movement is blocked by a firing pin.

I tried to find a way to buy a replacement or to have such a spring made by a local gunsmith but it couldn't be done. I'm from Poland, and the gun is rare here and an old one at that - the manufacturer does not make revolvers anymore (I think CZ bought it but they only make 1911s now).

Can anyone please help me find and buy such a spring?

Actually you should call CZ. They have parts and they're not all listed on their site. Customer service is excellent. One way or another your spring is available.

You can go to http://www.danwessonforum.com/
Anything you need to know is known by someone there. Very helpful people with deep knowledge regarding DW revolvers. Someone will help you and will likely be willing to send you the part. If not PM me and I will do it for you.

Blue Ridge Blueing also has many parts for the DW revolvers...

Thank You very much, guys!

Problem is I have a problem paying for the item - I could just send cash in an envelope, but I doubt that CZ USA would accept that form of payment :)

So I think I just take Your offer, warnerwh, and PM You asking for Your help.
