Both M29's. One is 3016XX, the other one's 668XXX.

what's the prefix before the serial # should be a letter.....

The 668XXX should be N668XXX and that would date it as a 1980 model.

The 3016XX should have an S or N prefix. If the prefix is S then it would be a 1967 to 1968 model. If the prefix is N then it is a 1975 to 1977 model.

Opps, sorry for the incomplete info! The 3016XX has an "N" prefix. Don't know the prefix for the 668XXX.
