Anti-firearm petition aims to permanently suspend all handgun ammunition sales at Wal-Mart. (http://www.handgunsmag.com/dynamic.asp?intSectionID=342&intArticleID=3373)
Counter petition is being circulated among firearm enthusiasts to submit to national discount store
Michael Moore, the producer of the anti firearms film "Bowling for Columbine" is circulating an online petition that will be submitted to Wal-Mart Stores to try to convince them to permanently suspend all sales, nationwide, of handgun ammunition.
If you find this offensive, please go to the following web address and sign a countering petition that lets Wal-Mart know that there are many more people out there who support their sales of ammunition to law abiding American citizens.
If you use any other forums, maybe theyed like to know about this as well...
Thanks so much for your support!

Done, and emailed to friends! (Two of whom have their own substantial email lists of 2A supporters!)
Let's go, folks! Spread the word!
For the record, I don't like the title, and I think the petition's wording is weak, but it makes no sense to start another one and thus divide (and therefore weaken) the effort.
We need to pull together!

I would like to sign this petition, but have a problem with giving out my e-mail address for even such a good thing as this. Before I sign I want to know if that informaiton is sent to wally world. If so then it becomes a corporate asset and they can do with it as they will. Can anyone help on this?

Set up a trash e-mail account for things like this. Use a phony name (I like Bob Vila... ;) ) and phony address to register for the account. Then you don't have to worry about people hunting down your personal information.
Signed, BTW. :)

I use Hotmail (http://lc2.law5.hotmail.passport.com/cgi-bin/login) for these anonymous email accounts, but you can also use yahoo.com, email.com, etc.

In any case, a dump email account is a good idea, as already mentioned.

OK, ours is up to almost 32K sigs now. How many sigs do the antis have? Here's to hoping we can get more than them.
Edited due to looking too quickly and reading thirty one thousand eight hundred something as 38K. :o
