I'm trying to decide on a new upper that shaves as much weight as possible. I currently have a 16" HBAR that is very accurate but I know I can lose some weight off of the barrel.

My criteria are:

A2 upper
16" Gov't profile (pencil) barrel
mid-length gas system
1 in 9 twist
M4 feed ramps
Dissipator preferred but not a deal breaker
Total cost =/- $600

Anyone have any suggestions?

Del-ton is exactly what I would reccomend as well. Del-ton link (http://www.del-ton.com/AR_15_Barrel_Assembly_p/dt1022.htm)395 for a lightweight A2 upper.
