A handgun is a "Suspicious Development" in Peterson case

ABC just broadcast that investigators have found a .22 caliber handgun, some shotgun shells, and some nylon rope in his car. Apparently this constitutes a "suspicious development." And one of their experts asked why he "needed" one. Then later she said something about "He telled him that..."
Some ignorance and stupidity is ok, but flat out propaganda is NOT.:fire: :cuss: :banghead: :scrutiny:

It's reasonable for the cops to note these items are suspicious. If they found a hacksaw in the trunk, that would be suspicious too, but their saying it wouldn't necessarily be anti-hacksaw.
Yeah, the "why did he need it" line could be construed as anti-gun, but I doubt the cop meant it the way the antis use it. He probaby simply was vocalizing the thought process of investigators.

If Peterson is trying to cover up a murder, leaving a loaded handgun “illegally” stored in his truck is a pretty stupid way to do it.

Wow. A .22 handgun. I have not heard the cause of death being by gunshot, soooooo....relevance? I hope they do not look in my trunk (well, i drive a truck).

Wow. A .22 handgun. I have not heard the cause of death being by gunshot, Well, since her head is missing (they haven't found it, have they?), gunshot is certainly a reasonable suspicision.

Even if someone is not killed by a gun, it can be used as leverage to get them to do something or get tied up, etc.
