ParaOrd LDA vs HK LEM

I just checked out a Para LDA Tac Four that was a very nice pistol. I was allowed to dry fire it and was impressed with the smoothness of the trigger. It was a smooth sweep with no stacking.
Just wondering how this compares to the HK LEM trigger.
Ok, now argue the attributes of a .45 Para or an HK with the LEM. Would the HK be able to be configured with the LEM with a manual safety to match the LDA?
A slick trigger pull with a manual safety utilizing a downward thumb sweep seems to be a good way to safely carry a .45.
Draw, sweep, fire. Take that Glock.

I got to shoot a SIG-Sauer P229 DAK at the IDPA Nationals. I prefer it to either the LDA or LEM. I literally cannot make a LDA fire every time and the DAK was much smoother and lighter than the LEM I saw at the SHOT Show. The question is, how long will it take them to get it on the commercial market?
I don't want a manual safety on a double action gun.

Sounds like a current USP cocked and locked. Or a Colt. The slickest DA in the world cannot compare to a decent SA.
That said, I've known enough guys who've dumped their Para's due to unreliability that I'd go with the LEM if I just had to have a DAO. That new SIG trigger is probably on par. If you want a single stack 9mm or .40 the Kahrs have a nice DAO pull.

I have 11 Para's and they've never had the problems people seem to claim. I'm not saying they have had no problems, but most problems are the feedramp. So, if you look at the feedramp before you buy the gun, you are way ahead.
If you want a 1911 with an added safety of the DAO tirgger get the Para. You are looking at some nice guns, so either way I think you'll be fine.

The LEM can be retrofitted to any USP for about $100 + s&h and last time I called HK I was told there's about a 4 week turn-around time. I prefer the the LEM over the LDA mostly I prefer the feel.

I have had 2 HK .40s problems with both.
I Have had 3 Paras. 2 Limited 1 regular. After the regular para had the ramp polished no problems. Limiteds had no problems from the git-go.
YMMV

I have a 12.45 LDA and got it for the LDA trigger with the thumb safety. I also have a Colt Government model, but CCW with the Para ORD because it is so accurate and I feel better not carrying cocked and locked.
