Has anybody tried Georgia Arms Shear Power Plus in 9x18?

I wonder what kind of penetration performance these have in comparison to the dismal performance of some of the other 9mm Mak ammo such as Barnual or Honady HPs.

I was under the impression that Hornady and Barnual were 2 of the best 9mm Mak rounds out there? I could be wrong, having never tried either in my Mak (but I do handload with Hornady XTP bullets, and like them)...

But no matter what ammo you use, 9mm Mak isn't going to be a "powerful" caliber. It will get the job done, but it's still no .45 ACP.

I've had real good luck with GA's 9x18 SPP Gold Dots. They are very accurate and feed well in both my Makarov and my PA-63.

ditto on the Georgia Arms. very accurate and compares well with the barnaul. the reason i use it is because i like the gold dot bullet.
