Taking the time to say hello and....

introduce myself.

I'm Alan and I hail from Arizona (go D'backs!).

Like all of you folk I enjoy all aspects of firearms.

I collect, primarily, the older military guns like the 1903A3, Swede M96, Mosin Nagants, mausers such as the Yugo M48 and Turkish, SKS, AKs, Steyr M96, Schmidt Rubin K31, etc. along with pistols such as the Mak 9X18, CZ52, etc.

I joined this forum, as with others I belong to, to gain some knowledge and to share any if I can.

I will probably ask a lot of questions. More questions than giving answers, I'm afraid, lol.

I actively reload/hand load and since I'm retired, I spend a lot of time shooting, also.

I believe in protection of the Constitution which, of course includes, the second ammendment.

I have a sense of humor although it might be dry at times and you'll have to read between the lines.

I'm NOT here to upset any balance or to play games. I'm here for sharing and comradery. Simple as that.

Although I shoot straight (telling it like I see it) from the hip and don't hold punches I am not here to insult or to degrade anyone nor do I tolerate being unduly degraded or insulted.

I am honest and forthright and would hope the same in return.

If y'all have questions of me feel free to ask. I'm an open book, as they say.

I'm not a highly educated or intelligent fellow but I do have a lot of life experiences.

And, if I ever unknowingly get out of line, forgive me but set me straight.

DeaL?

Nice to meet y'all! And, I hope I haven't started off on the wrong foot.

:-)

Thanks for the very warm welcome.

I learned a long time ago you got to give respect if you ever want to earn it.

Thanks again.

Howdie neighbor.

Seems like were getting more and more Arizonians in here.

We had a shoot about a week ago up in Phoenix. Next one will be soon. Maybe you would like to join us. We had a good time.

Its great to meet the neighbors and talk shop.

Welcome. Sounds like you've got a pretty nice/interesting collection going.

funy thing about knowledge it's like nuclear fusion - the more you share, the more knowledge is created, and the more you get back, which is a good thing. Jump in and enjoy!

Alan, your start was with the right (correct) foot and your humor does show through as does more brain power than you give yourself credit for.
Welcome friend.

Glad to have ya with us, Alan. Ask all the questions you want. I find that, when someone asks a questions, I often learn something from the answers given.

Once again, thank you all.

Before long I'll start asking those irritating questions or making comments but I promise to do my best to keep in step.

Deal, and welcome!

As most of us know there is no direct correlation between yrs edu and intelligence.
