Another Winchester 67a question

How do you adjust the windage on a Winchester 67a? There doesn't seem to be any obvious way to do it and I don't want to risk making it work by messing with it. Google failed me as well and I don't have the original manual for the rifle as it was a gift.

Thanks,

I will double check when I get home, but I think the rear sight is driftable.

It's drift-able on my 69a................but you might have more luck posting this at rimfire central in the Winchester section.

agreed that the front and rear sights may be drifted with a brass rod and a hammer. do a little math to figure out how far you have to drift the sights to correct, set the gun up in a vise with a caliper handy, and have at it.

measure the distance between the front and rear sights. measure the distance from front sight to target. measure the difference between point of aim and point of impact, and calculate the necessary proportional correction. make a reference mark where the sight dovetails into the barrel, and drift as required.
