All sorts of dire warnings on the package, statement that the sabots are made for rifled barrels or chokes, list chokes not to use, does not include cylinder.

Any danger using these in the Mossberg 500 18.5" barrel?

nope, no real danger. they wont be accurate though out of a non rifled barrel. check box o'truth. they did a round with this in mind.

oh....you might not want to shoot them out of a 3.5 inch chamber though. some say that the sabot can get hung and blow stuff up. never seen it....but ya know.

There is a warning not to use 1999 or earlier Remington Copper Solids in Hastings rifled barrels because they have caused some of the slim walled barrels to bend. I have heard this is true for Mossberg rifled barrels too but have no evidence. Current Remington Copper Solids are supposed to be safe though.

Now with that being said I'm sure it's safe to shoot Copper Solids through your 18.5 CYL barrel but why would you want too? I'm assuming you can't use a screw in rifled choke because the barrel being 18.5 probably doesn't except choke tubes.

Using that type of slug in a smooth bore barrel will cause it to keyhole because it won't stabilize and will probably not be very accurate at all. The rifling in the rifled barrel or rifled choke is what stabilizes that type of bullet with spin.

Most of your rifled foster type slugs designed for smooth bore barrels fly straight and true not because the rifling on the bullet necessarily makes it spin and stabilize it's because the base is hollow and the nose is heavy, kinda like a badminton bird.

The rifling on the slug adds stability as is passes down the barrel through the bore and that combined with the soft lead make up of the slug allows it to easily crush or deform through the choke so it can be shot through any type of choke CYL-FULL.
