After an accident people got saved from a burning car.
At the end of the video one of the heroes says something like this:
If a person didn't came forward with their pocket knife. things would be different.

To bad the future is dark for this very useful tool.

That is a VERY intense video. Thank God for all those people and the off duty firefighters on the scene. Those people are true American heros, and without their quick thinking and brave actions while fighting the heat and obvious danger those lives could have been lost. God Bless.

whoa, that was close, glad someone came forward with a pocket knife. Do you know where this was? I wonder what kind of knife it was, and what the knife laws are in this area.

I have a pocket knife, Leatherman, and an orange seatbelt slasher/window breaker in my car, hope I never have to use them.

This is exactly why I put knives in both cars with window breakers. When we got our little boy, and upon realizing how secure that car seat is, it kind of freaked me out - like armoredman said - I hope we never have to use them.

I can not beleive there is a place in the world where that many people are and no knife! As a healthcare worker of 40 years I have carried a knife everyday of my life, and know many others do because ya need one for a variety of tasks. We even have to open boxes.

It's funny how people ask why you have something. than ask you to borrow it some time later.
I always have a knife, and a flashlight, usually a multi tool as well.

As a firefighter/EMT myself, I would be mildly embarrassed after the fact that I did not have a knife on me at the time.
These guys are brave as hell, and true heroes; but I was told, to wit: a knife is one among the class of tools where, if you need it, the situation generally requires that you have it right damn then 'n there, so it would be of great benefit and relief to the lives and consciences of all involved to carry one and be well versed in its use.
Of course, when the cap said it, it wasn't in so many words, nor so short on obscenity :)

I have carried a knife daily since my grandpa gave me my first 3 inch Imperial Stockman when I was 5 years old.
